Hebrew Practice
Learn Hebrew vocabulary through sentences.
How It Works
A Hebrew sentence appears. You translate it to English. Your answer is checked word by word — close enough counts. Get it wrong and you'll see exactly which words tripped you up. Tap a missed word to reveal the answer.
Controls
Hebrew → English — Click the arrow to flip direction. In Hebrew → English mode, you read Hebrew and type English. In the other direction, you see English and mentally translate to Hebrew, then reveal and self-grade.
Quiz — Multiple choice mode (Hebrew → English only). Four options, one correct. For when typing feels like too much work.
Nikkud — Shows vowel marks on the Hebrew text. Turn it off when you're feeling brave.
Speaker icon — Hear the Hebrew sentence pronounced aloud, slightly slowed for learners.
Filters & Difficulty
Use the filter chips to focus on Infinitives, Questions, or your Starred bookmarks. The difficulty slider controls sentence length.
Shuffle Conjugation
See ↻ Shuffle conjugation? Practice the same words in a different form (masculine, feminine, singular, plural). Same vocab, fresh challenge.
Focus Words
The secret weapon. Star a word you got wrong and it comes back in new sentences at increasing intervals. Get it right and it spaces out further. Get it wrong and the interval shrinks — but doesn't reset completely. Nail it enough times and it graduates.
Review & Word List
✓ Past Sentences at the bottom shows everything you've attempted. The Word List tab has all vocabulary. You can add your own words there too.
Stats
The Stats tab tracks everything: overall accuracy, daily streak, per-category breakdown, and accuracy for every individual word you've practiced. Words are color-coded — green means solid, red means it needs work. Tap any word to add it to your focus rotation.
Backup & Restore
